What We're Building
The Arche Institute is a residential community in the Bay Area for young founders, technologists, and thinkers who believe that what you build should be shaped by love and respect for your fellow man.
We gather people of exceptional ability and genuine character. We give them peers worth learning from, mentors worth listening to, and a culture that holds them to their highest ambitions. We drive one another to grow in capacity, but also to match it with an equal depth of wisdom and gentleness.
Three Pillars
Community
A selective network of young builders united by character, original thinking, and high agency. In-person chapters. A culture where people genuinely care about each other's flourishing.
Counsel
A dedicated group for those ready to go deeper. Mentorship from people who have built and led well, rigorous debate, and genuine accountability to one another.
Fellowship
A residential program in San Francisco for founders building technology grounded in human flourishing. Housing, peers, mentors, and the space to build something that matters.
What We Believe
We believe that moral truth exists and is important; that belief in a meaningful, ordered universe has been the foundation of every flourishing civilisation. The values that have led to the creation of wealth across the Western world and beyond are not self-sustaining abstractions.
Innate human dignity, freedom, the pursuit of truth; the conviction that every person bears the image of a loving God. These are prerequisites to the health of the civilisation we live in.
Science tells you how things work. But faith tells you why they matter. A culture that mistakes the first framework for the whole picture loses the vocabulary to talk about why anything matters at all.
Technology is one of the most powerful levers in human history. It reshapes how billions relate to each other, find meaning, and spend their lives. As those tools grow more powerful, it is essential that increased capability is matched with moral clarity.
